A perfect fall weekend

This weekend Andy and I went to Tennesee to get away from the dreariness that is Columbus. The crisp cool Tennessee weekend was just what we needed! We were able to buy art, hang out with friends and family, drink awesome beer at the Brewer's Jam, race cars, and wash and wax my car! It sounds quite random, but we couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Just look at the beautiful view of the mountains, taken from Maryville College which is right across the street from Andy's parents house.

As I mentioned, Andy was able to do his Solo II car racing this weekend. Since his Celica isn't ready yet, his friend Chuck let him co-drive his Focus. Here are some pics of Andy kicking some arse on the course.

And of course, it wouldn't be an Andy and Michelle trip, if we didn't find something random. On the way back to Columbus, we stopped at the Colonel Sanders Cafe and Museum. The building was the first Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant run by Harland Sanders. It's in Corbin Kentucy just off of I-75 and I recommend you stop there the next time you are driving by. It's a hoot. And you can eat there too.
