Bill Clinton/Fox News (Chris Wallace Interview) Pt. 1
President Bill Clinton taped an interview with Fox News’ Chris Wallace, which aired today. He was told the interview would focus on his nonpartisan efforts to raise over $7 billion to combat the world’s biggest problems. Early in the interview, Wallace attempted to smear Clinton with the same kind of misinformation contained in ABC’s Path to 9/11. Clinton was having none of it. He held his ground while still admitting he did make some mistakes in his presidency. Because terrorism is still a problem, he feels like he failed in that regard, but at least he tried. Some people think that this is just a political ploy to get the democrats fired up to beat the republicans in the midterm elections. Although Clinton is extremely intelligant and possesses much political savvy, he is still a human being, and I think that he is just sick and tired of the conservatives making accusations about his hand in stopping terrorism. I think his point was that was ok to ask him that question, but it isn't right that Fox and even other media sources, fail to question the current administration and demand both answers and action from them. I applaud him for standing up for his actions and answering someone in the media truthfully and completely instead of skirting around the issue. There is no doubt that right now Clinton is doing everything in his power to make this world a better place to live in. If he is so determined to help humanity now, how can people think that he didn't do everything he could to protect Americans when he was in office? Think about it. pillow fight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I always knew that large schools were strange places with very unique opportunities. For example, this week was Welcome Week at Ohio State. To welcome the new freshman there were a variety of activities going on throughout the week where people could mingle, get to know each other, and pass time before classes really got involved. On Wednesday night there was a pillow fight to try to break the record set by SUNY-Albany for having the most people in one place hitting each other with packets of feathers. I don't know if OSU was victorious, because I didn't stick around long enough to find out but I thought I would share the pictures with you. Some of you may be disappointed in the pictures since I talked up the event a little bit, but it was dark and I wasn't allowed into the sectioned off area of the oval without a pillow, so deal with it - the photos didn't come out that great. Just take my word for it that it was kinda wierd.

The Nina, the Pinta . . .
On Sunday Andy and I biked the 20 mile paved bike trail that runs all the way through Columbus. We rode south from our part of town, called Clintonville, to German Village, where we ate at Katzinger's Deli. It was a lovely ride and surprisingly, it was also very scenic. The path goes along both the Olentangy and Scioto River, past wetlands and community parks in Clintonville, through campus, along downtown Columbus, ending at my favorite area of town, German Village. The following picture is a view of the Columbus skyline.

Another surprise that we found along the way is that Columbus Ohio is home to one of the first ships that sailed to America, and it's in spectacular condition for being 514 years old! So next time you come to Columbus, make sure to take a break and see the Santa Maria. They have tours, and it's a must see!

Still got it

Hi Everyone. Sorry I haven't updated the blog lately. I've been super busy, and in fact, I don't have much time now, but I wanted everyone to know that the new Bob Dylan CD, Modern Times is awesome! After all these years, Dylan is still one of the best! Check it out! I promise, you'll love it!

Random
Well, nothing new is going on, so it's random picture time!
Here is a moose made of nails. It's taller then I am. We saw it at the Ann Arbor Art fair back in July.

Unconventional serving sizes:

Here is a chocolate bunny who lost his head. Hooray for modern art!

This is Danny from neutron camp drinking both a natty light AND a guiness at the same time. Strange!

Andy and I "rolling" a grindstone out of the way at a rest stop on the way to Athens, Ohio.
