Countdown to Change Rally - AKA one of the coolest experiences of my life

Friday was the Columbus Countdown to Change Rally with Barack Obama. The Buckeyes for Obama and Central Ohioans for Obama has been hard at work selling tickets and organizing volunteers for the past two weeks. Friday the day finally arrived and all of the hard work was definitely worth it!

One thing in particular that stood out was when he talked about how "one voice can change a city, one city can change a state, and one state can change a nation". This was really inspiring to me and reminded me why we are doing all this work in Ohio, an early primary state. We can still make a difference and help give the campaign momentum to bring about the change we so desperately need.

Now for a picture tour of the event:

The stage before the Rally started.

People getting pumped up for the senator to speak (there were a lot of people there)!

Hope is finally here!

The man of who brings a message of change and hope to this country:

I gave him one of those ugly buckeye necklaces on behalf of the Buckeyes for Obama

After the donor luncheon:

The great senator with Paul (the Miami of Ohio coordinator), me (the OSU coordinator) and Brendan (the coordinator for the state of Ohio).

One of the after party locations - we felt compelled to celebrate the rally and all the inspiration!

Only in Detroit . . .

I don't think any words are needed.
