Lazy Summer

Not much to report lately. Sorry for the lack of posts. We haven't stumbled upon any of the strange sights that we usually do. Maybe our luck is running out. I sure hope not.

I do wonder if anyone actually reads this thing though . . .

Hope everyone is having a good summer! We're going to the APHS Cross Country Alumni run at the beginning of September and Hillsdale's Homecoming the weekend after that, so we'll definitely have stuff to report then. I also hope to put things on before then too :o)

Doo-Dah all the way.

The Doo-Dah Parade occurs every 4th of July in Columbus. There is no criteria for marching in the parade, no entrance fees, no rules, no theme. People can pretty much do whatever they want and openly exercise their freedom of speech. That's all you really need to know, I think the pictures will speak for themselves.

The "Fitness Fidels":

The "Pope" and some "nuns":

Even Queen Elizabeth II made it to Columbus!

Captain Ohio came to save the day:

No explanation needed here:

And this wouldn't have been a parade without someone dressed as PeeWee Herman:

We went to the parade with Andy's parents and a good time was had by all. It was nice to see people using their freedom of speech so creatively!
